Deadlines and Milestones are Designed to Keep Your ACA Timeline on Track
- APR 04: Q1 ACA Summary Report distributed
- JUL 06: Q2 ACA Summary Report distributed
- OCT 07: Q3 ACA Summary Report distributed
- DEC15: Final ACA Summary Report review & approval process begins
- JAN 05: 1095-C Optional Fulfilment (printing and mailing) process begins
- FEB 15: IRS Electronic AIR filing process begins for employers who have distributed the 1095-C Forms
- MAR 03: Proposed IRS extended deadline date to distribute the 1095-C Forms to employees
- MAR 31: IRS Electronic AIR Filing Deadline
IMPORTANT REMINDERS:
Are you required to report COBRA participants or Retirees?
If you are an employer with self-insured medical plan(s), you must report on those individuals who continue medical coverage under COBRA and Retirees enrolled in medical coverage anytime during the ACA reporting year.
TIN-Validation Error Corrections, Are You Missing the Mark?
Once the reporting year is complete, employers are encouraged to review any prior reporting year TIN errors and the required correction process.
