Managing payroll is a critical function that needs to be done right, every time, on time. But, it’s also among the most complex and challenging tasks that leaders and managers face in HR, payroll, rewards and recognition, and benefits administration. Rapid technological advances, shifting regulations, and rising concerns over data security and privacy make accurate and efficient payroll processing more challenging. They increase the job’s complexity, heighten the risk of errors and compliance violations, and raise the chances of damaging the employee experience and hurting a company’s employer brand when pay and deductions are miscalculated.
In response, Selerix, an industry leading benefits administration provider, has launched two powerful applications via the ADP Marketplace —Selerix for ADP Workforce Now® for ADP® clients who are new to Selerix and the Selerix Connector for ADP Workforce Now® for existing Selerix clients who want to integrate their Selerix account with ADP. These integrations are designed to streamline payroll processing for employee benefit deductions, helping organizations like yours to overcome challenges in managing complex HR tasks.
“Real-time data exchange eliminates the need for file feeds, resulting in more accurate, more timely data in ADP Workforce Now as well as in Selerix,” said Jasper Purvis, Selerix VP of Business Development.
ADP Marketplace is a digital HR storefront that enables users to connect and share data across HR solutions. Its curated set of apps — from ADP® and third-party partners such as Selerix — and access to ADP APIs help simplify how companies manage HR and run their business.
“Our integration with ADP Workforce Now will reduce double-entry and manual mistakes for our mutual clients by creating a strong integration,” Purvis said. “It will give HR and benefits professionals more time to focus on improving culture and other strategic projects, rather than being concerned about inaccurate data and waste time doing unnecessary audits.”
Most significantly, Selerix clients using ADP Workforce Now can immediately reduce “timing” gaps. Data will move immediately and seamlessly from HR to benefits, payroll, and other systems. For example, when an employee is first entered into an organization’s system, they will be represented in the benefits platform and can enroll for their benefits almost immediately.
Similarly, administrators won’t need to wait to run and load a weekly file after an employee enrolls for benefits. Instead, the new data is immediately sent to payroll for deductions to start when the employee completes their benefits enrollment process. Employees always have the benefits they need when they need them.
By having seamless integration between payroll and benefits, users will also:
- Reduce administrative errors (and the stress that comes with worrying about them)
- Be able to make updates to payroll information in real-time
- See streamlined administration of the Selerix solutions for HSA, FSA, COBRA, and billing reconciliation
“Selerix is committed to helping organizations become more efficient by allowing them to operate the way they want with the platforms they want,” Purvis said. “We believe that when systems communicate and data can integrate seamlessly, organizations and people thrive.”
Integrating with ADP is another example of how Selerix can help companies efficiently manage even the most complex eligibility requirements and robust benefits plans. Selerix can execute those plans without employers needing to change tech platforms.
