With more than a decade of experience supporting employee benefits compliance strategies, she works closely with organizations to simplify ACA reporting, reduce risk, and resolve real compliance challenges. Talk to us about your professional background before Selerix. What kind of career did you lead?
Before to starting in 2014, I was a stay-at-home mom for about five years when we lived in Chicago. Besides that, I’ve always worked in sales.

What is your current role, and how long have you been with the organization?
I’ve been here for 11 years. I’m a Senior Sales Director focusing on ACA sales.

How would you describe your role in one sentence?
I help employers and brokers with their ACA Compliance and Reporting needs, which includes identifying providing resolution to their unique ACA pain points.  

Do you have a favorite Selerix memory?
Tim Pratte, Jill Crawford, and I went to a Boston Celtics playoff game. Even though the Celtics lost, it was so much fun to hang out with my colleagues outside of work.

What is a work accomplishment of which you are especially proud?  
Closing a particular sale after a long and detailed vetting process. More importantly, solving the client’s needs, knowing we made a difference and delivered on what we promised. They continue to be a very satisfied client.

What is something most coworkers would be surprised to learn about you?
I’m a twin.

I’m passionate about what I do. I love ACA compliance and helping employers feel confident about their reporting requirements.

Outside of ACA, what kind of hobbies do you have?
I enjoy watching sports with my family, especially LSU football.

What posters were on your childhood bedroom wall?
Duran Duran. I was a big fan.

BBQ Fritos are my go to snack.

If you weren’t in this profession, what would you do?
I always wanted to be a school counselor.

Have you met anyone famous?
Thomas Rhett. I met him during COVID at an outdoor winery.

What is the most rebellious thing you did as a teenager?
I got on a plane with a fellow student that I barely knew, who was a pilot, and we flew around the LSU campus.

What is your favorite movie and why?
My favorite movie is Love Actually. It has many different story lines, it’s mostly happy but has some surprising elements to it. I love the way the move ends.

If you had a warning label, what would you say?
Talks a lot and loudly.

Where did you grow up, and what is something you loved about it?
Metairie, LA. a suburb of New Orleans.  New Orleans family friendly culture.

What is a place you have visited that left a lasting impression on you?
New York City. In the middle of the city, Bryant Park, and we’re playing backgammon, and there’s so much going on around you.

What is a fun or meaningful tradition you have with family or friends?
Fantasy Football with three generations of my family.
