Tell us about your professional background before Selerix. What kind of career did you have?
I earned a degree in Computer Science and began my career in the IT industry. After working in technology for several years, I stepped away from the workforce to stay home with my children. During that time, I became neighbors with Selerix founder Lyle Griffin. He mentioned the company had open roles, and I joined the team in 2009.

What is your current role, and how long have you been with the organization?
I currently serve as a Principal Solutions Consultant on the support team. Over the years, I have worked in several roles across the organization, including EDI Specialist, Account Manager, and Manager of Client Services. One of the reasons I enjoy working at Selerix is that every day brings new challenges and opportunities to solve problems.

How would you describe your role in one sentence?
Remaining calm in the midst of chaos and helping our customers with my knowledge of the system.

What is a work accomplishment you are especially proud of?
Reaching 10 years at Selerix. I received Employee of the Year award. I won it in 2019.

What is something most coworkers would be surprised to learn about you?
I teach aerobic fitness classes four times a week. It helps me relieve stress and stay active.

I am excited about the company’s continued growth and the opportunities ahead as we move to the next level.

Outside of work, what kind of hobbies do you have?
I enjoy exercising, reading, Bible study, and spending time with my family.

What advice would you give yourself at age 15?
Believe in yourself. Believe in yourself, aim high, and you can overcome challenges and achieve your dreams.

What is your favorite movie or book?
The Lord of the Rings trilogy. Watching all three movies together every few years has become a family tradition.

What celebrity would you like to meet for a cup of coffee?
Jennifer Garner because she’s kind of like America’s sweetheart.

Early bird or night owl?
Early bird. I have energy in the mornings.

How long would you survive in a zombie apocalypse?
If I had the right tools and weapons, I believe I could survive. If I made it through the first day, my chances of long term survival would be much higher.
